Creamy Caramel Flawn or Caramel Bread Pudding is an excellent dessert especially in summer. It is not only healthy but also nutritious and easy to make. Following is the recipe of creamy caramel flan.
Sugar 1/4 cup,
Bread slices 4 (or you can use 3 as well),
Milk 180 ml,
Heavy cream 1/2 cup,
Condensed milk 200 ml,
Vanilla essence few drops.
First caramelize the sugar well and transfer it into the same mold in which you want to have your pudding. Now keep it aside and let the caramel cool down.
Then take the slices of bread and cut the edges evenly. After this, cut all the slices into small pieces. Take a bowl and pour milk into it. Here now put the small pieces of bread into the bowl and let them soak. Soak them well for 5 minutes.
Next step is to take a blender and put the soaked bread, heavy cream, condensed milk, eggs and few drops of vanilla essence into the blender. Blend all these ingredients well and have a refined creamy mixture.
Finally, pour this mixture onto the hard surface of caramelized sugar and then put the mold in a preheated oven. Let it be baked at 150°C for about 50 minutes .
After the pudding is fully baked, take it out and let it cool down. Then shift the pudding from the mould to a flat round dish with caramelized surface on the top. Keep in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours and SERVE.
Most of the recipe of Creamy Caramel Flawn or Caramel Bread Pudding is a cross between egg custard and cheesecake. Rich and delicious.
To make it soft, one can add some extra milk as well.
To enhance the taste one can add extra caramel.
